DIRECTIONS
I-65 (Northbound):
Exit 8th Avenue South (University Boulevard). Turn right on 19th Street. ArtPlay is located on the right side of the street between 10th and 11th Avenue South.
I-65 (Southbound):
Exit 4th Avenue South. Turn right on 19th Street South. ArtPlay is located on the right side of the street between 10th and 11th Avenue South.
HWY 280 (Red Mountain Expressway):
Exit 8th Avenue South (University Boulevard) and turn right. Turn left on 19th Street South. ArtPlay is located on the right side of the street between 10th and 11th Avenue South.
Parking
UAB Student Lot 15Y (the gravel lot) is for ArtPlay patrons at the corner of 10th Avenue South and 19th Street. Additional metered parking is available on 10th Avenue South. Mon-Fri between 3pm and 6pm, the UAB deck on the corner of 19th Street and 10th Avenue S is open for our students.
Please do not park or drop off in the Alabama Ophthalmology parking lot, as you may be towed. There is a paid public parking lot across the street from the ArtPlay house. You will be booted if you use this lot and do not pay for your space.
ArtPlay highly encourages you to use either UAB Lot 15Y, UAB Parking Deck or metered parking.
Office Hours
Monday- Friday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
After normal office hours and on weekends, an ArtPlay staff member or teaching artist will be on site during scheduled classes, camps, workshops, and special events.
